Top drawer secrets

My mother and I were discussing potty training yesterday.

I mentioned how Eldest Son was pretty much trained, but hadn’t quite mastered the art of weeing before going out somewhere if he didn’t really need to wee. I also mentioned that his father had the same problem which often meant double the number of potty stops than was strictly needed. Matthew, looking exasperated at this topic of conversation with his mother in law, asked why I had to discuss these intimate details with my mother/friends/colleagues? (My best friends know that husband wears boxer shorts and not briefs after discussing how to influence the sex of a baby as husband recently found out at a dinner party. “Who else knows what about my top drawer?” he demanded.)

I replied that having a pee before you go out is not unusual, IT IS THE NORM and if you go against the norm you can expect someone (by which I mean me) to comment on it and that if you are still wondering who else knows what about your top drawer DON’T READ THIS POST.
