Baby-Bore: and here’s the weather

I open the blinds and a foggy, grey, English day greets me. “There’s no point you playing outside today,” it says. “There’s no point planning to go to the park or for a walk with friends.”

I felt the heavy weight of a UK-winter depression. But when my son looked out the window at the weather and said “look Mummy, it’s wet and FROGGY” I smiled, a proper oh-how-I-love-my-children smile, and I’ve been smiling ever since.
