Pigs with pubes

by

in Daily Life

I almost feel like a failure for writing that I am still here, waiting, waiting and waiting some more.

But I’m feeling pretty good, if pretty huge, so no complaints and instead I thought I’d share with you this anatomically-correct picture that my son drew.

It is not, as you might think, a picture of a pig in need of a trip to the grooming salon for a Brazilian, but a picture of me with the baby positioned where it will come out, between my legs.

My son may only be four but he knows ALL the facts of life (well, that’s what he thinks anyway).

Okay…that’s HILARIOUS!

Not to get into too-much-information territory, but I’ve heard that nipple stimulation really helps get contractions going. I’m sure you’ve heard them ALL by now!

Crap, you haven’t had bubs yet. I know how FRUSTRATING that can be (especially when people ask all the time…). I went 17 days over with my first, but by 10 days over I decided I was “over it” and no longer cared whether or not it came.

Hope you don’t have too much longer to wait! :-)

Oh my lord, dear, what are you waiting for.

I see you have an artist in the family though ;)

oh my stars!

well, now we know what you look like – rofl! I always felt more along the lines of a fat sea lion than a pig though. . .

Haaa! Quite the little artist you’ve got there.

Stay well, little mama.

Okay, so you’ve got the nose of a pig, but you’ve got the legs of a supermodel so all in all that’s not too shabby…My wish for you is a baby that sleeps non-stop for the first several weeks. Best of luck!

That picture should be page 1 in the baby book! You posted three days ago, so I’m hoping that means that the piglet–I mean baby–has arrived.
