Shouldn’t write anything really

What are you doing?/What’s on your mind?/Short updates for busy people by a busy blogger:

Third son has a growing stye in his beautiful eye. SO looking forward to THAT popping.

Earlier this week we had a fab day at Legoland. And if I’d ever thought, pre-children, I’d have said THAT, I would have probably had my tubes tied.

Second son has had an okay week, the first okay week of the summer for him. Unfortunately, that’s it for his holiday because school starts back on Monday.

Today he spent the whole day saying he hates being him. His tastebuds were gone again and he felt grumpy and tired. Not good signs for the weekend.

A friend came for a playdate and told me about a party she went to that we had not been invited to. It seems like everyone else was there. I try to brush it off, but self-doubt creeps in and the rest of the day is ruined while I ruminate on why I was not invited. (Must stop doing that.)

We had a second opinion come back on William’s biopsy results. They think it is most likely genetic. That means no meds will work and transplant will therefore happen sooner rather than later. I had also thought that meant the disease wasn’t likely to come back in the new kidney but apparently that is not necessarily the case. Ugh. Fed up of fucking FSGS. I miss our old life.

I spent the holiday weekend last weekend getting pissed-up in the sunshine with friends. Life on those kind of days is good.

You know that saying, if you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all (which I use ad nauseam with my constantly squabbling children)? Well, this post falls in that category.
