A bit flat

in All Gone Wrong

flat2It’s been a long couple of weeks with everyone (except for me – yay!) in the family being poorly.

But I feel so drained, so tired, really properly fed up and I just need something to get me over this. I wouldn’t normally post  – because who on earth wants to read stuff like this – but I am contractually obligated to post weekly and I just wanted to let you know why things are so quiet over here.

I’m trying to get to bed early (even though I have to get up at midnight to give William antiobiotics this week), to take some time just for me and to try and read and do fun things. I’m even trying to get in a bit of exercise to get some endorphins going and tackle the creeping fat.

So it’s all good and there’s no cause for alarm. I just feel a bit flat.

Flat – like a crap simile.

*********

And here’s what I’m reading today: Sandy at BabyBaby is hosting this week’s mummblogging carnival if you want to go over and take a look.

It’s not surprising really with everyone in the family being poorly and it’s not surprising you’re exhausted. There seems to be a lot of flatness around at the moment. Maybe it’s the time of year plus the-way-life-is-sometimes. Hope things pick up for all of you soon. We’re a but flat here too!

I think there’s loads of it going around at the minute – we’ve all been feeling a bit bleugh too…

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. Illness tends to do that doesn’t it, especially if you’re stuck indoors more than usual.
I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care.

I know the feeling well. I hope you feel less flat soon – I was going to say bumpy but that didn’t seem right somehow.

Have you ever visited Heale House? It’s one of my favourite escapes in Salisbury. This time of year is so hard in the UK. I hope the weather improves soon, hopefully your spirit will improve then too. But take a walk around Heale House gardens – it’ll inspire you.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling flat. These bugs can be pretty relentless and draining. I hope you get a lift soon.
Thanks for the carnival plug, very kind x
