Here is one of my favourite photos of the field behind our house, awash with summertime poppies. For a few weeks they turn the fields of green rapeseed or wheat into something entrancing.
On the day I took this, Harry spent a good part of the afternoon wandering back and forth through the field, totally absorbed in his thoughts.
Sometimes a change of pace is what we all need.

Oh how lovely – I’m lucky to spot one or two poppies at the edge of a wheat field… a whole field of them? Me and my camera would go daft!
What a lovely photo and great story to go with it.
