Starting school

ask me about this noindex

Despite all sorts of reservations about sending my four year old off to school, he had a great day and this morning he ran to school, greeted his teacher with a shy smile and donned a painting shirt to start his favourite activity before registration had even begun.

And, if I’m honest, none of them look too upset about starting back this year, do they?

(I love this picture because it shows the kind of fun we have as a family, always lots of laughing, quite a bit of anarchy and me trying to keep vague control in the background.)

This pic is for Tara’s Gallery where the theme this week is Back to School.

That is a fantastic picture! I tried to take one of my lot this morning before 4yo set off for his first morning but there is someone with funny eyes in every shot! I love the laughter in this one…beautiful. x

That laugh you captured is spectacular! I hope everything goes really well at school this year for all four of them.

That’s a gorgeous photo. So perfect!
My middle one – the four year old – is headed off this year too. I’m not sure I’m ready for this. She’s rather excited. It helps that her older brother is there too.

Thank you.

Ben is definitely keener to go to school because his big bros are there and he’s also really familiar with the school from dropping them off every day.

I LOVE that photo, family life should be all smiles. When I check on MAxi last night before I went to bed he was smiling in his sleep!

Oh my goodness me, you can feel the energy in the photo. I can’t even begin to imagine how you cope! Two boys are enough for me :)

What a really fantastic photo. Hope they enjoyed the first day.

Would you believe me if I said their energy gives me energy?

No. I thought not :) .

They have all had a great first few days but they are dog-tired tonight.
