Things I don’t want my children to know about me: this was tough to write about anyway, but I had no idea how busy I would be this school holidays and a week has passed and I still haven’t got this Carnival up so I am going to have to bail out and leave you with the blog confessions I’ve already made, most of which involve things I don’t want my children to know, particularly the one that involves my feelings for them during the arsenic hour.
But lots of other (better, more organised) bloggers managed to post about the things they don’t want their children to know about them:
Roxy at Roxy Carmichael tells us about five things she doesn’t want her daughter to know about her and confesses why she told a stranger she was legally blind.
Emma at Mommy Has a Headache reveals the five things she doesn’t want her children to know about her and confesses why she once told a boss she was in the bog for three hours.
Kelly at Domestic Goddesque shares the five things she doesn’t want her daughters to know about her and tells us why they should start worrying when she doesn’t shout!
Jax at Live Otherwise/Making it Up tell us the five things she doesn’t want her children to know about her and tells us why she once looked like a hedgehog who’d been left out in the rain.
Cass at The Diary of a Frugal Family tells us what she doesn’t want her children to know about her secret worries.
Bibsey Mama shares the five things she doesn’t want her daughter to know about life and the world.
Would like to be a Yummy Mummy tells us about the rush she gets from things wrapped in tissue paper.
Thank you for your wonderful contributions! If you linked to me in your post, look out for another link back to your main blog url once school is back in session by way of thanks. The next regular Friday Club will be in a few weeks when I will be breathing a sigh of relief that I can get back to blogging instead of being chief-bum-wiper, peacekeeper, taxi-driver and bank.
