I love the post I have chosen for post of the week this week. Written by Steady Mom, it is about ways to love your children even if you don’t like them. I love it for its honesty because, let’s face it, sometimes this parenting thing is hard and it really helps to know that if you’re having a tough time, you’re not alone. I try to practice mindful parenting and this post is a timely reminder about doing that in the more tricky moments of parenthood.
And, yes, I may have had a few of those in the last couple of weeks.
So please go over and visit my post of the week at Steady Mom: How to Love Your Kids (When You Don’t Really Like Them)
Do you have a Post of The Week? Choose one great blog post written by someone else. Write about it on your blog and share some link love, that way the author gets a link to their great post which is what this is all about. Then come back and link up your own blog post if you want to so we can all read the best posts from around the internet.
Here’s the code for the badge if you want one, but you don’t have to use it!

I’m not keen on linkies that only work one way, so I always link back to anyone who links to me and I’ll be catching up on doing that once sick children are back in school, I haven’t forgotten!

That’s a lovely post, simple ideas yet ones we could all do with being reminded of when we are at the parenting coal-face!
Yes, children aren’t always lovely and I though these were lovely tips.
Love this idea – simple and brilliant. Have read Bods – now off to read yours!
